I'm not ashamed to say it, I LOVE MUSIC THEORY! and I firmly believe that everyone will love it once they understand it.

As an actor do you ever sit in an ensemble rehearsal and not have a clue what the MD is talking about? Not know your crotchets from your quavers? And what are they on about when they mention enharmonic equivalents?!

I can take you through the quagmire that is relative harmonic minors and double sharps and bring you out the other side to achieving your grade five theory!

If you have zero desire to delve into the finer points of theory then have no fear, we can work together to improve your general reading of music so that you aren't lost in those dreaded rehearsals, having previously taught theory at both Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and also The International College of Musical Theatre I am fully versed in what you as a performer are likely to come up against in the industry.
